Who will be the closest?!?!

Just for fun, please come take a guess on when Miss Addie will arrive and how big she'll be! Be nice...don't make me come find you! ;)

26 weeks!

Well here's a pic of how Addison is growing! Yeah, we're getting big, I know. :) (And a pic with my baby, Sawyer, this time too!)

Down to double digits!

Well we have 99 days until Addison's estimated arrival date! This pregnancy is flying by! I feel (and apparently look) bigger, so I know she's growing well. Belly pic day is tomorrow, so you all can see for yourselves. Just a little over 3 months left...which means we're almost to the third trimester!!!!!

25-Week Ultrasound

We didn't get to take 4D shots of Addie last week since it was one of LaDonna's official prenatal appointments so we stopped in for a quick peek yesterday morning.
Andrea snuck up on her with the US wand and we got a killer shot of her face at the beginning but from then on Addie was having nothing of it. She likes to cover her face when she hears the ultrasound. I don't blame her!

Another uneventful appointment!

We had an official OB appointment today and all is well. My blood pressure was actually lower than normal, which surprised me, but it is good. I've gained another pound, so I'm just barely moving up the scale. No worries there either though, as Addie measures perfectly. Steve posted the ultrasound below and early on, you can see her yawn (at the 1:06 mark). That's because she was up dancing until midnight last night. Seriously. :)

Our next appointment is in 4 weeks and I'll do the GTT (diabetes test). (Blech.) After that, the OB appointments will be every 2 weeks! This pregnancy is flying by...at least for me it is!

24-Week Ultrasound

We got to see Addie today and she was as active as ever; still holding her hands up by her face, kicking and yawning. Dr. Fletcher did some 2D imaging to check bones, organs, etc. so we do not have anything fancy to show you other than that.
All is well! She measures right on time and she has long legs. Future WNBA player? Well, we hope not...

24 weeks = VIABILITY!!!!

Well Miss Addison is viable as of today! We've hit 24 weeks and this is a HUGE milestone, in my opinion. Although she'd have a great chance of survival if born now, let's just plan on her baking another 16 weeks or so! ;)

Here is the 24 week belly. Sorry, it's blurry. That happens when you have your 12 year old take it. (And, yes, that is a glimpse of my little dog Sawyer begging me to pick him up at the bottom of the pic...lol.) :)

Addison Elise Miller

It's official! Baby A is now known as Addison Elise!
Andrea and I have had this name picked out for quite some time and we finally told close family and friends over the holiday. Since we had to make it absolutely official for the legal side of all this (the pre-birth order), we figured it was time we told those of you who are following along.

We presented the book (pic below) to our parents and grandparents on Christmas. They were very excited to not only learn the name by unwrapping a gift, but also have a "first 20-weeks" book full of ultrasound pictures to look at.

We'll likely do an ultrasound in a couple days. We'll update then!

It's Baby's Birth Year!

It's 2011 and that means this baby girl will be born this year! Hard to believe there's less than 4 months to go! It's also hard for me to believe MY baby girl will turn 10 this year. Wow...my youngest and this one will be 10 years apart! Now that makes me feel old...lol. It's amazing how fast time flies though!

If the old wives' tale is true, this little one will have lots of hair since I have horrible indigestion. Now this tale has not proven to be true with my other pregnancies, so who knows how much hair she'll actually have. I've also noticed she has become much more active the past couple weeks and, if I watch, I can often see my belly actually move. Besides the indigestion though, I have to say I'm feeling great!
